Peacemaking
Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
When he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”
John 20:21-22, NRSV
Our Creator's peace is offered through the witness of a nonviolent Savior, Jesus of Nazareth.
As people following this Savior, JCPC has committed itself to peacemaking in individual lives, families, communities, nations, and within God’s creation. We seek to explore peacemaking through the life of faith.
Worship - that expresses the reality of God’s peace giving;

Education - that develops skills such as conflict resolution, mediation, or nonviolence training;
Ecumenical and Interfaith Partners - in pursuit of social, racial, and economic justice in communities, local, national, and worldwide;
Deliberate Responses - to global issues of concern including support to human rights and economic justice efforts in at least one area of the world - through presbytery partnerships and sister countries;
