The Poetry For All workshops run for 1.5 hours and cost $15 each. Open to all levels of writers and offering a relaxed and accessible approach to poetry.

The sessions will begin with a guided writing exercise to get our pens moving. We will then read and discuss a few poems. Following the discussion, everyone will write an original poem inspired by our readings and a specific prompt. We will conclude the class with an optional sharing session focused on positive feedback only.

The classes are run by Lisa Lowry, a writer living in Northern VA. When she is not writing, she helps run the online community, Kids Comics Unite, a community for graphic novel creators.
